Here are the next 5 key feminine energy traits and what I gained from embracing the soft era:

Strong Boundaries

Knowing yourself. What you want/do not want. Drawing clear lines around behaviour and predefining what treatment or standards are acceptable or not for you.

Why boundaries are so important:

Clear boundaries communicate self-respect.

Boundaries, banish doormat syndrome and raise people’s belief in you. People trust you, which is attractive and reassuring.

What happened with the boundaries test run?

Previously, I wouldn’t know a boundary if it hit me in the face (Ouch!).

Figuring out how I wanted to be treated came first…

Journaling desires and needs and studying my personality type and values provided a good north star. Being an INFJ requires alone time to recharge, so that became my first boundary.

I gained advice on how to practice saying what I want or don’t want (without being rude). I make sure to avoid compromising situations such as (too much) alcohol or allowing strangers into my personal space.

I made a choice to commit to self-respect and safety, which unfolded into spending time with others for superior reasons. My sense of security comes from investing in myself. If someone challenges a boundary, I think first. How will I feel later on if I allow this breach?
