Yes, so true, and for so many reasons. But you can lower the risk.

Often things start with a completely blind stumbling into each other. People meet and get so excited it can be like tying a blindfold around your head and expecting to find the donkey's tail if flying on physical intimacy and chemicals. Feeling 'loved up' - means nothing, what stands the test of time is complimentary love languages (or the emotional maturity to show affection in the way your partner feels loved), complimentary core values, knowing and understanding MBTI personality so that you can live with, respect and accept each other's uniqueness and similar aspirations for the future, commitment to 'WE' not 'ME' - before jumping into bed, a smart woman would get across all of this first. Ideally. But I know - not easy.
